We are seeking a professional who is committed to providing excellent dental care.  In this role, the Dental Hygienist is responsible for performing quality and efficient hygiene procedures while building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with our patients and staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perio exams, supra and subgingival scaling and polishing
  • Implement and coordinate the treatment/preventative program described for each patient under the direction of the dentist
  • Review charts for patient care
  • Coordinate dental health education materials

Skills required:

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations (i.e. HIPAA/OSHA)
  • Knowledge of pharmacology and medical pathology pertinent to medical history
  • Knowledge of four handed dentistry
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

The dental assistant will be responsible for preparing operatory, sterilizing instruments, set up for procedures, update patient history in the electronic dental record, and assist dentists and hygienists as needed.

Community Health Services (CHS) is seeking a full-time Staff Dentist to work at our Fremont, Ohio (Sandusky County) main office and our Fostoria, Ohio office (Hancock County).  A Staff Dentist responsibilities include to diagnose and treat problems with a patient's teeth, gums, and other parts of the mouth. A Staff Dentist will also provide advice and instruction on taking care of teeth and gums and on diet choices that affect oral health. A Staff Dentist will carry out dental treatments including professional teeth cleaning, dental restorations, prosthodontic and endodontic therapy, and will perform examinations, take x-rays, and prescribe medication. He or she will additionally meet with new or prospective patients, prepare patients for treatment, and track the progress of their treatment. 

A Staff Dentist will be assisted by a supporting team, including dental assistants and dental hygienists, who will assist in providing oral health services.  Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Candidates must hold a Doctor in Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS), and must possess an unrestricted license to practice dental medicine in Ohio.

As a result of continued growth and expansion in Ohio’s health care organizations, Community Health Services (CHS) is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to join our organization. This is a senior level management position, that will directly report to the CEO.
This position holds great responsibility in providing leadership, direction and compliance with standards, policies, procedures, and goals. The position requires supervising and monitoring the entire corporation in the absence of the CEO. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: overseeing the development of the organization, assisting with provider recruitment, assists supervisors/HR in discipline of employees, addressing patient concerns/complaints, participating in Performance Improvement, and assisting CEO with projects and new site planning.
The COO must maintain effective communication and relationships with all departments within the company and adheres to applicable laws and regulations regarding: HIPAA, OSHA, OIG Guidelines and federal laws.
A Bachelor degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university is required. Master’s degree preferred. Previous experience as a COO or relevant role is required. Ability to travel is required for this position.
